Takashi Murata

Takashi Murata is a Managing Director, Co-Head of Asia Real Estate and Head of Japan at Warburg Pincus, having joined in 2024. He also serves on the Board of Directors for StorHub. Prior to Warburg Pincus, Murata spent a quarter-century at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Partner and served as Co-Head of Asia Pacific Private Investing and Global Co-Head of Real Estate at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in Tokyo in 1998, a founding member of the Asian Special Situations Group (ASSG), eventually becoming Head of ASSG in 2018.
