Biography

Jinglei Chen is the Managing Director and Founding member of BEI Capital. She is responsible for real estate private lending and value added investment strategy, execution and capital raising. Previously, she was with Grosvenor Asia. Prior to that, she was a senior vice president in the Private Market Investment Department of China Investment Corporation with primary responsibilities of sourcing, underwriting and executing direct real estate investments and co-investments. She previously worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York, where she was an assistant vice president in the Risk Management division and a senior specialist for the Debt Technology group. Ms. Chen holds a BS with Peking University and an MS with Northeastern University.
