Biography
Javier Sotomayor is the Managing Director Asia and Middle East at Cinépolis Corporativo. With over 25 years of experience in retail, entertainment, and financial services, he has been with Cinépolis for over two decades. Instrumental in the company's growth in Asia and the Middle East for the past 10 years, he previously led its first international expansion and developed its low-budget cinema concept in Mexico. An Industrial Engineer with an MBA and an AMP from Harvard Business School, he received the "Exhibitor of the Year" award at CineAsia 2023. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Cinépolis India.
