Gordon Shaw

Gordon Shaw is a Managing Director at Baring Private Equity Asia, having joined the firm in 1998. He is responsible for BPEA's investments in Greater China and serves as the Vice Chairman of the Exit & Liquidity Committee. Before joining BPEA, Mr. Shaw was a Director at AIG Global Investment Corporation (Asia) Ltd. and led the Equity Investment Department at Nan Shan Life Insurance. He also gained experience in Citibank's Asian Private Equity and Corporate Finance departments. Mr. Shaw holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taiwanese.
