UK Investment Cycle - Relative Value, ‘Normality’ or Polarisation?

Tyler is the Founder and CEO of Seaforth Land. He has over 30 years of international real estate experience across Asia, North America and the UK in property development, investment banking, principal investment, and investment management. He is a passionate and vocal proponent of good design, sustainability, diversity, and transparency in our industry. Tyler was ranked #35 in the “Estates Gazette 2014 Power List 50” as one of the 50 most influential people in the UK property industry.

Mr. Piper is a Partner, Co-Head of Europe and member of TPG Real Estate’s Investment Committee, based in London. Prior to joining TPG, he was a Partner in the Real Estate Group at Ares Management, where he spent 12 years, before which he was a member of the European Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Credit Suisse. He received a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge, where he graduated with First Class Honours. He is also a trustee and Honorary Treasurer of the Royal Trinity Hospice, a charity providing care and support for those with life-limiting conditions in London.

Jenny, as Chief Investment Officer, plays a pivotal role in executing the Company's long-term strategic goals and is a key member of the executive leadership team. She is responsible for overseeing and directing London CIV's partner funds' investment portfolios, leading a team of investment professionals who manage a diverse range of public and private market funds and develop new solutions for Partner Funds. With over 30 years of experience in investment management, Jenny possesses extensive expertise in business and people management, asset allocation, and investment solutions across various asset classes. Before joining London CIV, she held several leadership roles, most notably as Chief Investment Officer at Tesco Pension Investment. There, she was instrumental in growing the business from a startup to an organization with over 100 employees and £25bn in assets under management.

Kiran, as Global CIO and Deputy Global CEO, is instrumental to the success of our investment and asset management platform, as well as the creation and implementation of investment and risk strategies. He has over 30 years' experience across Europe, Asia and the US. He joined us in 2012 and also chairs the Portfolio Advisory Committee and is a member of the Transaction Advisory Committee.

Mr. Orf joined Apollo in November 2010 and is a Partner & Vice-Chairman of Apollo’s Principal Finance and Real Estate businesses segment focusing on transaction development for both real estate equity and debt, operating partner outreach, significant limited partner matters and general ambassadorial work across the platform. He serves on the Investment Committees of the Apollo North American Real Estate and the European Principal Finance funds. Previously Mr. Orf was responsible for Citigroup’s global real estate investment activities. He has spent the majority of his career investing in the European real estate markets since he arrived in the UK in 1991 whilst working for Goldman Sachs.

Sophie is responsible for CPP Investments' Real Estate investments globally and is based in our London office. With nearly 30 years’ experience in real estate investing and finance, Sophie joined CPP Investments in 2025. Prior to joining, Sophie led Global Real Estate at Schroders Capital. Before this, she was the CEO/CIO for CBRE Investment Management EMEA and an MD at Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners (now Silverpeak). She started her career in investment banking (M&A) at JP Morgan.

Tavis is co-head of Real Estate in Europe within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. In this role, he is responsible for the design and implementation of the firm's real estate investment strategies in the region, including investments in real estate assets, operating platforms and real estate-backed loans. Tavis is a member of the Asset Management Real Estate Investment Committee. He joined Goldman Sachs as an executive director in the European Special Situations Group in 2005. Tavis was named managing director in 2010 and partner in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Tavis worked at Morgan Stanley in mergers & acquisitions advisory and real estate private equity in London and Paris.
