Prior to joining PATRIZIA, he worked as Managing Director / Head of Direct Investments at IVG Immobilien AG and was responsible for its European portfolio. Prior to that, he spent several years as Vice President at Fortress Investment Group in a leading position in the commercial transaction team in Germany. Mr Schaper began his career with LaSalle Investment Management, focusing on European acquisitions and capital raising.

Thomas is a Partner at Alpine Grove Partners, responsible for existing investments and new business development in Germany. Prior to joining Alpine Grove Partners, Thomas worked as a Managing Director at Greystar Real Estate Partners, where he led the establishment of Greystar’s platform in Germany and Austria and the company’s real estate investment, development and capital raising activities in those markets. Thomas received an MBA from University of Cambridge and an MSc in Finance from Free University Berlin, Germany, including studies at Lund University, Sweden.
