Mr. Beltran is CEO of CG CAPITAL EUROPE and he has more than 24 years of investment banking, real estate and capital markets experience throughout Spain, Portugal and rest of Europe. Previously, he was Head of Carlton Group Europe and before Javier was Managing Director of UniCredit’s Investment Banking division and he has previously worked for UBS, Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital. Over his career, Mr. Beltran has intervened in the completion of more than €20 billion in European transactions, including a wide spectrum of equity and mezzanine investments and direct lending transactions. He holds a PDG degree from IESE Business School and graduated from CUNEF with a BD in Business Administrations & Finance.

Aexbridge Capital, a Madrid/London based privately held investment firm specialised in direct lending, asset backed distressed debt and other unique special situations, primarily in western Europe. Alberto is the Co-founder of URBANIA INTERNATIONAL, a real estate private equity firm with over €1 billion under management. Mr. Lopez has been involved in over €2 billion of opportunistic, value add and debt real estate investing in Europe. Mr. Lopez received an International MBA from EM Lyon & EOI and has a Bachelor’s degree of Economics.

Mr. Gallego joined Cerberus in 2018 as Head of Real Estate Advisory in Spain. Based in Madrid, Mr. Gallego is responsible for executing and overseeing real estate acquisitions and transactions activities in Spain. Prior to joining Cerberus, Mr. Gallego was most recently a Partner at Deloitte LLP in its Financial Advisory business, where he provided advice to different funds on the execution of portfolio purchases amounting to over €39 billion and was responsible for the servicing and developers industries. In 2005, he founded Quadratia, a specialized consulting division for financial entities in the residential real estate sector, and he was the Managing Partner until 2015.

Lorcain Egan serves as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate Private Credit at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, Mr. Egan oversees Starwood’s commercial real estate debt investment activities. Since joining the firm in 2013, he has played a key role expanding the firm’s global lending footprint. Mr Egan previously worked in the Capital Markets team, where he arranged financing for equity investments in Europe and Asia. He is a member of Starwood Capital’s Investment Committee and Starwood Property Trust’s Investment Committee (NYSE: STWD). Prior to joining Starwood, Mr. Egan was a Vice President at Barclays Bank in London, where he specialized in real estate lending. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Barclays and Allied Irish Bank, working across a range of asset-based lending and corporate finance areas. Mr. Egan holds a degree in Law and Economics from the University of Ulster.

Michael Nagelberg is a Managing Director in the Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies Group, based in London. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Nagelberg was a Principal at TPG and was responsible for originating, acquiring, and structuring real estate debt investments across various property types in the United States. Prior to TPG, Mr. Nagelberg was an Associate in Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Special Situations Group where he was involved in loan origination, acquisition, and asset management. Mr. Nagelberg started his career with Antares and then Warburg Pincus focusing on real estate investment, development, and underwriting.

Managing Partner and co-founder of our Commercial Real Estate business. Before joining Venn in 2013, Paul spent over 20 years with Citigroup, heading Citi’s European Real Estate business. Paul has a wealth of experience in loan origination, transaction structuring, advisory and loan distribution. Paul benefits from an extensive list of key relationships with sponsors and market participants, and has led a number of landmark transactions including the largest hotel deal in Europe. Paul started his career with Citi in 1993 in Canada, before moving to Citi New York, and then to Citi in London in 2000. Paul is a member of the CFA Institute and holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada.

Sam Mellor serves as Head of Europe & Asia Pacific Real Estate Debt at Barings Asset Management, where he leads the firm's real estate debt origination and investment activities across these key regions. With extensive experience in commercial real estate finance, Mellor oversees a diverse portfolio of debt investments spanning office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties. He brings deep expertise in structuring complex real estate transactions and managing institutional capital deployment. At Barings, he plays a pivotal role in expanding the firm's real estate debt platform and strengthening relationships with borrowers and co-investment partners across European and Asia Pacific markets.
