About Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus, established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, is a global Catholic service organization with 2.1 million members. It provides financial aid, life insurance, and promotes charity, unity, and patriotism. With over 17,000 councils, it donated $190 million and 47 million volunteer hours in 2023. Recent efforts support faith programs, Ukrainian refugees, and crisis pregnancy centers.
