Biography

Will McIntosh, Ph.D., serves as the Global Head of Research for USAA Real Estate Company (now Affinius Capital), where he is instrumental in shaping commercial real estate investment strategy and overseeing in-house research. With over 25 years of extensive real estate experience, he delivers crucial insights and recommendations for market and asset selection. Prior to his current role, Dr. McIntosh was the Head of Global Research for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority's Real Estate Department and Chief Investment Officer at Fund Evaluation Group. He also held academic positions, including Dean of the College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, and leadership roles at firms like ING Real Estate and Prudential Real Estate Investors. A past President of the American Real Estate Society and a Fellow of the Homer Hoyt Institute, he received the 2017 James A. Graaskamp Award for his significant research in institutional real estate investment.
