Biography

Ricardo Magalhães is a Partner at Argucia Capital Management in Brazil. As a co-founder of Argucia Capital Management in 2005, he serves as a Senior Partner, managing variable income funds and overseeing risk management and compliance. Prior to Argucia, Ricardo was the Superintendent of Investments at Mellon Global Investments Brasil (1998-2005), where he managed award-winning variable income funds. His robust educational background includes degrees in Production and Systems Engineering, Financial Engineering, a Master's in Production Engineering from PUC-Rio, and a PEC in Corporate Law and Capital Markets from FGV. He also completed the Owner President Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds the CFA certification. Ricardo is an active member of the CFA Society Brazil, ANBIMA's Equity Funds Committee, and AMEC's technical commission.
