Isela Bahena
Biography
Isela Bahena is a Managing Director, Private Infrastructure at Nuveen Asset Management, where she leads infrastructure investment origination and structuring across renewable, digital, transportation, and energy transition assets. With over 20 years of investment and portfolio management experience, she joined Nuveen in 2004. Her expertise spans various asset classes and she holds several LP advisory roles, serving on boards for investments in Europe and North America, including toll roads, digital communications, and energy infrastructure sectors. Prior to Nuveen, Ms. Bahena was responsible for public finance and general middle-market lending and underwriting at Bank of America. She earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
