Biography
Tammy Chu is the former Managing Director of Entura, a position she held from 2011 until April 2024. She now serves as Hydro Tasmania's Interim Executive General Manager Construction, leading major hydropower projects. A civil engineer by background, Ms. Chu specialized in hydropower and renewable energy systems. She has extensive experience in business strategy and international development in consulting engineering. Ms. Chu is the Vice Chair of the International Hydropower Association Board and was the first female president of Engineers Australia's Tasmanian Division. She holds an MBA and is a Fellow of Engineers Australia.
