Maria Sanz
Biography
Maria Sanz is a Managing Partner and Co-Head of Private Equity at Yielco Investments GmbH, specializing in alternative investments across Private Equity, Private Debt, and Infrastructure. Joining Yielco in 2018, she serves on the Investment Committee and ESG Board. With over 20 years in private equity and international markets, she was a Partner at SwanCap Partners and UniCredit Principal Investments for 15 years. Her career includes 8 years at HVB AG focusing on FX and interest rate derivatives, and roles at Deutsche Bank and Arthur Andersen. Maria holds a double BSc in International Business Administration and Management from ICADE Universidad Pontificia de Comillas and ESB Business School, and is a CFA charterholder. She has managed over 240 investments totaling EUR 7.7 billion since 2004, known for her expertise in value private equity and sustainable value creation.
