Victoria Manresa
Biography
Victoria is a member of the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) regional team, based in São Paulo, Brazil, where she is responsible for new business origination, client relationship management, and transaction structuring activities in the southern part of the region, including Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina. Victoria joined MIGA in April 2021 as part of the operations team, where she led the structuring and execution of over USD 3.8 billion in guarantees across the LAC region. Victoria is a Spanish national with more than 16 years of experience in banking and infrastructure finance. Prior to joining MIGA, she worked at various international financial institutions in New York, London, and Madrid.

Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA)
The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) is one of the five member institutions of the World Bank Group. MIGA's primary role is to promote foreign direct investment (FDI) into developing countries to support economic growth. It does this by providing political risk insurance and credit enhancement to investors and lenders to protect against losses caused by non-commercial risks. By mitigating risks, MIGA encourages investors to commit capital to projects in riskier environments.
