Economista pela Universidade Católica de Brasília (UCB), MBA Executivo (COPPEAD), MBA em Finanças (IBMEC) e é especializado em Gestão de Controle Empresarial (UFSC). Realizou também o curso de Vision Management Program na IE Business School. Atuou como executivo no setor de infraestrutura Diretor de Administração e Finanças na Companhia de Desenvolvimento Urbano da Região do Porto do RJ (CDURP), Diretor de Parcerias na São Paulo Parcerias(SPP), no setor financeiro atuou como Sócio Diretor da Houer Capital e CEO da B2I Participações. No setor elétrico foi Conselheiro de Administração do Consócio Sol da Saúde e no setor de mineração/Gestão de Ativos atuou como Diretor de Ativos e Concessões da Companhia de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais (CODEMGE) e Diretor Presidente da CODEMGE e CODEMIG
