Sean Porter

Sean Porter serves as the Director of Development and New Business at CMI Energia, a leading private renewable energy company in Central America. In this role, he is instrumental in managing business development activities for a substantial portfolio of renewable energy projects and potential acquisitions across Mexico, Central America, and the Dominican Republic. He focuses on strengthening CMI Energia's strategic project pipeline, driving new investments in diverse renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydro power. Porter's expertise includes exploring new initiatives in energy storage and green hydrogen, and advocating for private sector and banking collaboration to advance sophisticated renewable energy solutions. He holds a Master's degree in International Economics from UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy.
