Ronald Egusquiza
Biography
Ronald Egusquiza is an experienced professional with over 20 years in the national and international oil industry. He previously served as the General Manager of Petrotal Perú, a role he held until January 2022. During his leadership at Petrotal Perú, the company became the second-largest crude oil producer in Peru by early 2020. Mr. Egusquiza specializes in the upstream hydrocarbons industry and has a strong background in both the public and private sectors, focusing on oil contracts, budgeting, and new investment evaluation. He holds an engineering degree from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería de Lima, an MBA from ESAN, and an MBA in international business from UQAM, Canada. His extensive career includes leadership positions as General Manager for Gran Tierra Energy Perú and Petroperú, and he has also been the President of the Board of Directors of the Peruvian Hydrocarbons Society (SPH).
