Biography

Rodrigo Aravena serves as the Chief Economist and Senior VP of Institutional Relations and Public Policy Officer at Banco de Chile. An expert in macroeconomic and regulatory affairs, he provides insightful analysis on the Chilean economy, including GDP growth and interest rate projections. Mr. Aravena holds a Master in Applied Economics from Universidad de Chile and is a Commercial Engineer from Universidad de Valparaíso. His extensive experience includes eight years as Chief Economist at Banchile Inversiones and a tenure as Chief Economist at Banco Itaú. He is also a distinguished Professor and a member of the MBMF Business Advisory Council.
