Ricardo Alves

Twelve years of experience investing in public and private equities in LatAm. Sector experience includes consumer, education, retail, healthcare at Warburg Pincus and infrastructure at GIC. He is responsible for origination and execution of transactions in the Digital Infrastructure and Transportation & Logistics sub-sectors as well as regional lead for high yield infrastructure debt in South and Central America.

Ricardo Alves is a Senior Vice President at GIC’s infrastructure group, leading the Latin American investment efforts in the transportation and digital sub-industries, as well as in the high yield infra credit space. He serves as a board member of CART, Eixo SP and at the investment vehicle that controls V.tal. Prior to joining GIC in 2016, Mr. Alves was a private equity investment professional at Warburg Pincus, focusing on growth equity investments in Latin America. Prior to Warburg, he was an equities investor at Santander and a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Alves holds a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of São Paulo.
