Biography
Raphael Dumas is the Head of Latin America Corporate Finance at SMBC - Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation - USA. He previously served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Corporate Finance Latin America from September 2020 to April 2024, and prior to that, Executive Director and Head of Advisory & Solutions - Latin America Corporate Finance from July 2019 to September 2020. His extensive career includes roles at HSBC Group in infrastructure & real estate and M&A, and at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette. Dumas specializes in corporate finance, M&A, leveraged finance, and project finance, with significant experience in the Americas, particularly in infrastructure, power, and energy sectors. He holds FINRA Series 7, 79, and 63 certifications.
