Paulo Cesar Starke Junior serves as Superintendent at Banco Regional de Desenvolvimento do Extremo Sul (BRDE), a regional development bank focused on fostering economic growth in southern Brazil. With extensive experience in development banking and regional finance, Starke leads strategic initiatives to support infrastructure projects, industrial development, and sustainable economic growth across Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and Paraná states. His expertise encompasses project financing, risk management, and public-private partnerships, contributing to BRDE's mission of promoting balanced regional development through innovative financial solutions and strategic investments in key economic sectors.

BRDE was founded on June 15, 1961 by the States of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná, with the aim of making the South of Brazil prosper.
