Biography
Max Muro is an international investment professional with over fifteen years of experience in emerging market private equity and debt investments in the infrastructure sector. Max began his career at Valeurs mobilières Banque Laurentienne covering Quebec-based infrastructure and transportation companies. He went on to work for Montreal-based asset manager Cordiant Capital as Investment Associate in 2012 where he participated in the financing of several infrastructure projects in emerging markets from Latam to Asia. Between 2015 and 2017, Max served as Structured Finance Manager in Mexico with Zuma Energia, a leading player in the renewable energy industry in Mexico. In 2017, Max joined the global infrastructure team of CDPQ in Mexico City where he currently serves as Senior Director, Infrastructure. With a strong background in infrastructure investment, he has been instrumental in driving CDPQ's initiatives in Mexico and Latin America. Max sits on the Board of Kino Energía, the largest privately held.

It was founded in 1965 by an act of the National Assembly under the government of Jean Lesage. It is the second largest pension fund in Canada, after the Canada Pension Plan (CPP).
