Biography
Engenheiro Eletricista formado pela UFMG (1995), com Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pelo CPDEE/UFMG (1998). Possui especializações em Gestão Estratégica (CEPAD/UFMG, 2002), Regulação de Energia no Setor Elétrico (FGV, 2005) e Educação Executiva com foco em liderança internacional (FDC/INSEAD, 2010).

Ingressou na Cemig em 1997, atuando inicialmente no planejamento energético da geração. Com a abertura do mercado de energia em 2001, passou a integrar a Diretoria Financeira, contribuindo para a análise de riscos e estratégias de atuação nos leilões de energia. Em 2007, assumiu a gerência de Análise e Controle de Riscos de Energia, liderando a implantação de métricas de risco e ferramentas de otimização para o mercado livre.
