Marcelo Rodrigues é advogado sênior em Pinheiro Neto Advogados e head do recém-criado NorDesk, um conjunto de iniciativas do escritório voltadas a clientes e parceiros situados no Norte e Nordeste do Brasil. Há mais de 14 anos, assessora clientes nacionais e estrangeiros de diversas indústrias em operações de fusões e aquisições (M&A) e questões societárias. É bacharel em direito pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), mestre (LL.M.) pela Universidade de Chicago, com ênfase em governança corporativa, e especialista em direito tributário pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos Tributários (IBET), e alumnus do programa de international lawyers do Debevoise & Plimpton em NY.
