Biography
Marcelo Campos Magalhães serves as the CEO of PetroReconcavo, a role he commenced in April 2008. Over his more than 15-year tenure, he has been instrumental in transforming PetroReconcavo into a leading independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company in Brazil. Under his leadership, the company significantly increased its production, profitability, and investments, culminating in its successful IPO and entry into B3's Novo Mercado. Magalhães holds a Business Administration degree from the Federal University of Bahia and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. His distinguished career also includes strategic consulting roles at firms such as IBM and Arthur Andersen.
