Biography
Manuel Tagle serves as the General Manager Latam at Mainstream Renewable Power, a position he has held since April 2018. He possesses extensive experience in the energy industry, with a particular focus on renewables, driving Latin America's energy transition initiatives. Mr. Tagle oversees significant projects, including the 1.4 GW Andes Renovables platform in Chile, aiming to power a substantial portion of Chilean homes with clean energy. Prior to joining Mainstream Renewable Power, he was the CEO of SunPower and Commercial Manager of Sociedad GNL Mejillones. Manuel holds a degree in civil industrial engineering and an MBA from the Universidad de Desarrollo, Chile. He is also the Treasury Director of ACERA, the Chilean Association of Renewable Energy.

Mainstream Renewable Power
Mainstream Renewable Power Chile, a part of Mainstream Renewable Power International since 2008, develops and operates large-scale wind and solar PV projects in Latin America. It significantly aids Chile's energy transition and decarbonization goals. The company manages the 1.4 GW Andes Renovables platform and is developing the 1 GW Nazca Renovables with battery storage and green hydrogen initiatives. Mainstream Renewable Power may sell its Chilean operations by late 2024.
