Biography
Leonardo Osorio is an Executive Director and Head of Natural Resources Project Finance for Latin America at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in the USA. With over 20 years of banking experience, he leads SMBC's team focusing on oil and gas, and metals and mining projects across Latin America. Prior to joining SMBC, Leonardo held significant roles at leading international commercial banks, including leading the Latin America financial advisory business for CACIB, and also founded and managed a financial advisory boutique for three years. His expertise includes the financial structuring of complex multi-source financings in the region.
