Biography
Leonardo Maranhão Busatto took over as Director of Planning at BRDE on August 1, 2023. An economist graduated from the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Ufrgs), Busatto has spent almost 16 years in public service.

BRDE was founded on June 15, 1961 by the States of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná, with the aim of making the South of Brazil prosper.
