José Douganc

José Ignacio Douganc served as CEO of Sky Airline from March 2020 to August 2025, having previously held positions as CFO and Corporate Finance Manager since joining the company in 2014. During his tenure as CEO, he led the consolidation of Sky Airline's low-cost model, oversaw the modernization of its fleet to exclusively Airbus A320neo family aircraft, and drove significant international expansion. Douganc successfully navigated the airline through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, achieving over 60% growth in passenger numbers between 2019 and 2025. His leadership earned him recognition as one of Airline Economics' "40 under 40 Class of 2023". An accomplished professional, Douganc is a Commercial Engineer and holds an MBA. He now serves as an advisor to Sky Airline's Board of Directors.
