Jorge Dimópulos
Biography
Jorge Dimópulos is the Vice President of Lithium at Tecpetrol (AR), a key leader in the company's energy diversification strategy. He holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a Master of Finance from the University of CEMA (UCEMA). Dimópulos is instrumental in Tecpetrol's strategic entry into the lithium sector, overseeing projects like the development of a 30,000-ton annual lithium carbonate production facility, following the acquisition of Alpha Lithium. His expertise also extends to energy transition, where he contributes to discussions on Argentina's opportunities in natural gas and renewable energies.

Tecpetrol
Tecpetrol has wide experience in O&G production, gas transportation and distribution and power generation. It operates in Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Colombia. In 2017, Tecpetrol announced a USD 2.3bn investment until 2019 in Vaca Muerta.
