Joaquim Saboia
Biography
Joaquim Saboia has a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and an Executive MBA from COPPEAD (UFRJ). Joaquim is the Chief Financial Officer of TAG since November 2019. He previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Solstad Offshore in Brazil, a company specialized in vessel supply for the offshore energy industry, between 2014 and 2019. He started his professional career at Shell's Brazil Treasury in 1999. In 2002, he moved to General Electric, where he held the positions of Treasury Team Leader and Risk Manager. In 2007 and 2008 he worked as Finance Manager at FMC Technologies. Between 2009 and 2013, he was Treasurer and then Controller of OGX Petróleo & Gás, a junior Brazilian O&G company.
