Biography

Gisèle Labarthe serves as the Executive Secretary of Sectra, the Secretariat of Transport Planning, within Chile's Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications. An accomplished Civil Transport Engineer with a Master's in Engineering Sciences from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, she brings over 18 years of experience in consulting and professional training. Labarthe has notably led the Urban Road and Transport Program (SECTRA) for more than eight years, advocating for gender equity in mobility. Her expertise includes managing complex logistical chains and directing teams in public transport.
