Gilberto Peralta
Biography
Gilberto Peralta is the President of Airbus Group for Brazil, a position he assumed in September 2020, overseeing the company's significant growth in the region. He also serves as President of the Board of Helibras (Airbus Helicopters Brazil). With a robust background in the aerospace sector, Peralta brings extensive leadership experience, including a distinguished 39-year career at General Electric (GE). At GE, he held pivotal roles such as CEO of GE Brasil from 2013 to 2018 and Vice President of GE Aviation in France, where he was instrumental in the Airbus aircraft program. An engineer by training, he graduated in Civil and Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of Petrópolis. Peralta also serves as a Board Director for Azul Airlines and the Ascensus Group.
