Gabriel Costa

Gabriel Costa serves as Managing Counsel Litigation for Latin America & Caribbean at Shell Brazil. He is a key member of Shell Brazil's legal coordination team and the Shell Group's global litigation extended leadership team. In this role, he leads a team managing all disputes, from administrative proceedings to high-exposure domestic litigation and international arbitration across various Latin American and Caribbean jurisdictions. Prior to joining Shell Brazil in 2012, Costa accumulated significant experience in litigation and arbitration at major Brazilian and US law firms. A notable achievement includes leading negotiations for a US$200 million environmental settlement. Costa also co-chairs ICC's Energy and Infrastructure subcommittee for Brazil and frequently speaks and publishes on dispute resolution topics.
