Biography

Ernesto García Quintero is the CEO and founder of EVM Energía, a leading electric power generation company in Mexico. Under his leadership, EVM Energía has become a key player in the Mexican Wholesale Electricity Market (MEM), specializing in natural gas-fired power generation. He spearheaded the company's expansion into the United States with an office in Texas, aiming to leverage energy reforms and diversify into renewable energy and gas commercialization. His strategic vision is evident in the development of projects like the EVM I (100 MW) and EVM II (850 MW) thermoelectric plants in the State of Mexico, contributing significantly to the national energy sector.

EVM Energia del Valle de Mexico is an electric power generation company, pioneer and leader in the Mexican Electric Wholesale Market, with a simple cycle powerplant in operation with a capacity of 100 MW and a combined cycle powerplant under construction
