Daniel Slaviero

Daniel Pimentel Slaviero is the Diretor Presidente (CEO and Member of Executive Board) of Copel - Companhia Paranaense de Energia. Appointed in 2019, he leads the Brazilian energy company, focusing on efficiency and innovation. Under his leadership, Copel received the Abradee Innovation Award in 2024 and achieved a 100% decarbonized electricity matrix. Slaviero was also recognized as "Personality of Innovation" at the Prêmio Personalidades TOPVIEW 2024 and as the top executive in the electrical sector by Valor Econômico in 2024. He holds a degree in Business Administration with post-graduations from Harvard University and Kellogg School of Management. His prior experience includes serving as President of Abert and holding executive roles at Grupo Silvio Santos.
