Biography
Catalina counts with a law degree from Universidad de los Andes and is admitted to practice in Colombia. She holds a degree in Commercial Law and LLM in Transnational Trade Law and Finance.
With over 15 years of professional experience, since 2019 is a member of the Banking Finance and Capital Markets team of Gómez Pinzón.
Catalina has led legal departments as in-house lawyer and as a firm lawyer has adviced local and international clients in regulatory matters, corporate finance, acquisition finance, structured finance, project finance and local and international capital markets transactions.
She has broad experience in the financial, energy , infrastructure and fintech industries. Currently she is a member of the board of directors of Ria Money Transfer Colombia and Terrenta.
