Biography
Carlos Lopez Rabadan serves as Head of Project Finance for South America at BBVA, driving the region's sustainable transformation. He leads financing for critical projects in energy, water, transport, digitalization, and decarbonization, contributing to BBVA's consistent ranking in the LatAm Project Finance top-10. Notably, he oversaw the financing of Peru's largest San Martín solar plant, marking the country's first photovoltaic project financed via project finance in over a decade. His expertise focuses on initiatives combining social impact, efficiency, and sustainability, including green hydrogen and infrastructure.
