Areli Covarrubias
Biography
Areli Covarrubias serves as the Commercial Director for Natural Gas at Sempra Infraestructura, where she manages the administration and commercial operation of the company's natural gas assets in Mexico, including optimization efforts. With over 14 years of experience in the energy sector, she previously held roles as Business and Commercial Manager and was part of the Regulatory and External Affairs team at Sempra Infraestructura (formerly IEnova). Ms. Covarrubias holds a degree in International Relations from ITAM in Mexico City and is currently the President of the Transport Committee at the Mexican Natural Gas Association.
