André de Souza

Graduated with an LLB from the São Paulo Catholic University (2003), André Vivan de Souza obtained the LL.M. degree from the University of Heidelberg, Germany (2006) with a dissertation on the “Cooperative mechanisms to implement and enforce the climate change regime” and was approved with the highest grade. His dissertation was written under the orientation of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Beyerlin of Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Heidelberg. Since 2003 he is practicing in the litigation and environmental areas of Pinheiro Neto Advogados - São Paulo. His litigation practice involves complex disputes related to civil/commercial issues as well as general public law. His experience also includes advisory to nation
