Alessandro Cunha

Alessandro de Brito Cunha is the CEO of Grupo BC Energia, a prominent Brazilian electricity sector company. A Law graduate, he began his entrepreneurial journey in energy, founding his specialized office before establishing Grupo BC Energia in 2014. Under his leadership, the company has grown into the largest independent energy trader in Brazil's Midwest, specializing in trading, renewable generation, and consulting. Cunha is also a counselor at Abraceel and was recognized among the "100 Most Influential in Energy of the Decade." His vision emphasizes democratizing access to affordable energy and expanding the renewable energy matrix.
