Biography

Alessandra Marinheiro joined ContourGlobal in August 2009 and serves as Executive Vice-President and CEO for Brazil. Before being appointed as Brazil CEO, Ms. Marinheiro was responsible for implementing ContourGlobal’s growth strategies for the Latin America region where she led several greenfield developments, merges and acquisitions, project finance transactions in Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Mexico. Prior to ContourGlobal, she worked for 12 years as Business Development and Commercial Director at AES’s generation businesses in Brazil. Ms. Marinheiro has a bachelor ́s degree in Business Administration from the Pontífica Universidade Católica(PUC-SP) with an Executive MBA from COPPEAD-UFRJ.
