Biography
S. Venkatachalam is the MD & CEO of Orient Green Power Company Limited. Appointed as Managing Director in September 2013, he brings over 33 years of extensive experience in manufacturing, business development, marketing, and profit center management. His career highlights include significant expertise in plastics, packaging, and wind energy sectors, with prior roles at companies such as Tata Steel, ITC, and RRB Energy. Before his current role, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Batliboi EnXco Private Limited, a prominent wind industry O&M service provider. Mr. Venkatachalam holds a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
