Ranjit Gupta
Biography
Ranjit Gupta is a distinguished leader known for his tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Azure Power. From July 2019 to April 2022, he spearheaded significant growth, expanding the company's portfolio to over 7.4 GW and securing major projects, including a 2 GW solar power initiative and a 500 MW manufacturing capacity. An IIT Bombay alumnus with a Harvard Business School certification, Gupta's extensive experience in the renewable energy sector includes leadership roles at Ostro Energy, Orange Renewables, and Indiabulls Power. He is presently the Founder and CEO of Ocior Energy.
