Poonam Tandon
Biography
Dr. Poonam Tandon is the Chief Investment Officer at IndiaFirst Life Insurance, bringing over 30 years of experience in the BFSI sector. In her 15-year tenure at IndiaFirst Life, she has been instrumental in managing diverse portfolios including Corporate Group business, Fixed Income ULIP, and Traditional Funds, alongside overseeing liquidity and asset allocation strategies. Dr. Tandon previously held significant roles at MetLife India Insurance, Paternoster LLC, Securities Trading Corporation of India (STCI), and Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI). Her achievements include establishing the corporate bonds and swaps desks at STCI. She holds a PhD in Financial Management and has authored papers in international journals.
