Anoop Agrawal
Biography
Anoop Kumar Agrawal serves as the Managing Director of Indian Port Rail Corporation Ltd (IPRCL), a role he has held since May 2016. At IPRCL, a joint venture under the Ministry of Shipping, he leads initiatives to enhance port rail connectivity and internal infrastructure, crucial for improving cargo handling and efficiency. He began his career with Indian Railways in March 1989 and achieved the senior administrative grade by August 2008. Prior to IPRCL, he was Group General Manager/Chief Project Manager at Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) in Mumbai from August 2010 to May 2016. Mr. Agrawal holds a B.Tech degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His expertise includes planning and executing port connectivity projects and railway capacity enhancements, backed by extensive training in project and financial management.

Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL), established on July 10, 2015, is a collaboration between 11 Major Ports and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
