About Ferrocarril Central Andino

FCCA is a Peruvian railway concessionaire established in 1999, operating 535 km connecting Callao/Lima to Huancayo and Cerro de Pasco. It transports minerals, cement, and fuel, primarily for mining, as well as Lima-Huancayo tourism. It is the highest railway in the Americas, crossing the Andes through 68 tunnels, 55 bridges, and 9 switchbacks. In 2024, it acquired locomotives and plans to expand passenger services.
