Vikas Agarwal

Vikas Agarwal is the Group CEO of SM Group and MD & CEO of SM Developers. He joined the family enterprise in 2004, following his tenure as an enterprise systems consultant with Accenture in the USA. Under his leadership, the steel distribution business experienced a tenfold growth, and he successfully diversified the group into real estate and hospitality. An alumnus of Mayo College Ajmer and with an M.S. in Information Systems from De Montfort University, Mr. Agarwal has been pivotal in implementing corporate governance standards, enhancing IT efficiency, and establishing SM Group as a prominent brand in Eastern India. He has overseen the development of significant projects, including Novotel Guwahati and Vivanta Shillong, with over a million square feet delivered and a substantial pipeline. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School's Owner President Managers' (OPM) program.
