Gopal Krishnan
Biography
Gopal is a senior corporate finance leader with over 33 years of experience across India’s top industrial groups. He is currently the Executive Director & CEO of Shriram Properties, where he led the company’s successful IPO in December 2021 — one of only two real estate IPOs in India over the last 13 years. Since joining Shriram Properties in 2018 as ED & Group CFO, Gopal has driven financial turnaround, established co-investment platforms, and strengthened the company’s development pipeline and strategic partnerships. Previously, he spent 13 years at Reliance Industries, holding key leadership roles in corporate finance and M&A, including CFO of Reliance Holding USA. He also held senior finance roles at Aditya Birla Group and began his career as an equity analyst. Gopal holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from leading Indian institutions.
