Biography
Born in Lebanon, Nayla Mecattaf is a Franco-Swiss citizen and a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ). In 1993, she joined the Renzo Piano Building Workshop where she remained for 25 years, 18 of which as an associate. She directed projects in Europe and the Middle East. In 2017, she joined Jean-Luc Crochon to create CroMe Studio, the international arm of Cro&Co architecture and develop projects with an international scope.
Cro&Co Architecture is headed by Jean-Luc Crochon, founding architect, surrounded by a cosmopolitan and passionate team of 25 talents. In 2017, he joined forces with Nayla Mecattaf, ex-partner of the RPBW . They created a department dedicated to international projects, CroMe Studio. Based in Paris, the agency has been developing ambitious projects for the past thirty years, mainly in High rise and restructuring.User well-being and carbon control are at the heart of its environmental thinking.
